Strong Summer Speckled Trout Fishing With Captain Jeremy fishing report coverpicture

August 6, 2026

Aransas Pass - Nueces, TX Fishing Report on 6th Aug, 2026 - 1

The Month of June was good to me! Busy, busy! The way I like it! July looks to be the same with some great times on the water the last couple days. Thank you to everyone that has kept me on the water this summer. I appreciate it more than you know. Speckled trout fishing remains to be pretty darn good. Which is great because the redfish are still very tough. Some days I’m finding one or two which seems to be a feat. Hopefully this changes soon. I have a couple days available next week as well as a few late in the month. Give me a call to reserve your day before it is gone. Capt. Jeremy Griffis 361-537-8268

Aransas Pass - Nueces, TX Fishing Report on 6th Aug, 2026 - 2

What a great July and the first 2 days of August it was! I can’t thank my customers enough for coming back time after time to spend their valuable day of vacation with me. Redfishing seems to be getting a bit better with a few more showing up in the flats. Speckled trout are still good most days. I have a couple Sundays available in August along with some weekdays. Lots of days in September and October available as well. As the fall approaches, fish should fire up and make for some great action. Reserve your day before it’s gone! Capt. Two Days of Redfish Action with the Witt Family fishing report coverpicture

June 24, 2026

Aransas Pass - Nueces, TX Fishing Report on 24th Jun, 2026 - 1

Day one with the Witt family. (Saturday 4/4) Ryan, Bertha, Jorgia and Chris We started the morning off with hot and heavy action on our first stop. Lots of undersized reds mixed in with slot fish kept us busy for a couple hours. As the morning progressed, our bite slowly died as we covered lots of water only catching a fish every so often. We ended the day with 8 keepers and one oversized red that Bertha had a blast getting into the boat. Day two was the total opposite. Only Ryan and Bertha joined me today. With post frontal conditions and a northeast wind we started off with little to no action. The bites we did get early were not hard and it was tough to get a hook in them. As the morning went on, things got much better. I located some upper slot redfish that were much more willing to commit to the bait. Today it was Ryan’s turn to put a beautiful oversized red in the boat. We finished with their limit, an oversized tagged red, and a nice speckled trout. It’s always blast having this awesome family to spend the day with on the water. Thank you Ryan and Bertha for coming out with me once again! Fishing should only get better as summer approaches. Let’s get your desired day in the books before it’s too late. Capt. Jeremy Griffis 361-537-8268

Aransas Pass - Nueces, TX Fishing Report on 2nd Feb, 2024

Hello friends! The 23-24 duck season had lots of ups and downs but overall it wasn’t the worst. Many great memories were made and that is what it’s all about. Now that it’s over I’m back to fishing again. Spring is practically here and that makes for some great days on the water. Spring break is just around the corner as well! Get your desired dates booked before they are gone. Let’s have a fun filled relaxing day on the water. Hope to hear from ya’ll! Here are a few pics from last year. I think the smiles say it all.
